Transfer Agent & Record Keeping

A major function of any transfer agent activity is the maintenance of complete, accurate and organized records of all transfer operations performed. The importance of good records cannot be over-emphasized, since such records are not only required to satisfy certain SEC regulations, but the records must also be used routinely to provide the information necessary for research to answer questions about previous transfers or payment.

At OTR Transfer, we do not take this responsibility lightly. Our top-of-the-line electronic record keeping system allows us to maintain the most accurate of master records. Our system produces reports such as a transfer journal which details all transfers occurring for any given issue. These reports are a permanent record of transactions and are always maintained on a current and accurate basis.
